Segova US-3T, 1965 with cool case included. Picture found in "History of Japanese Electric Guitars" by Frank Meyers, book section, Fujigen Gakki, Page 27, Second from the right is the guitar, #7.
The polished metal pick-guard reflects the tremolo arm. Has the original tremolo arm. Normal as associated with the age = wear, dings, dents, scratches, rust, corrosion, chipping, plastic tuner bushings missing/ cracked, Head-stock showing seam lines. Strings on wrong way, 15th fret marker recessed, missing some finish on the back, slight wear on first three frets, replaced mounting screw on tail piece.
This has a metal truss rod cover and all the electronics are mounted to the metal pick-guard. Electronics work but they cutout.
I had to soldered the wire back to the. Pot that ran from the R/S switch, the pot had become loose and twisted around. Repair or cleaning of the electronics needed, to bring it up to full function. Wire braided cover wires from Pickups, "Tokyo" on the 500 K pots. 5 MM Allen truss rod works.Looks and feels like a bone nut. It is not glued in. In photos, a deep clean and polish, you would have a classic Japanese Stratocastor like guitar. Thanks for looking and reading this far. Book and stand not included.
